Off Campus Access

Learn how to access Library resources anywhere.

Access the 91�ֿ� Library remotely.

License agreements for most of the Library’s electronic resources such as full text article databases, e-Journals and e-Books restrict access from off campus only to current 91�ֿ� students, faculty and staff. When a 91�ֿ� user clicks on any of these licensed resources from off campus, they will be prompted to enter their 91�ֿ� network ID and password. Users only need to login once during an online session.

How can I get off-campus access?

EZ Proxy

The library utilizes the EZ Proxy service to provide off-campus access to all its electronic resources. When you try to access a licensed library resource from off-campus, a code integrated into the link will prompt you to enter your 91�ֿ� login information on a special library page, i.e., the name and number (if any) half of your WSU email plus your usual password.

VPN

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Remote Terminal Server method also makes your network traffic appear to originate from on campus. You will need to install the VPN client and use the remote terminal server for off campus access to licensed resources. For instructions and restrictions using this method please see the IT website.
